Golden Globe Results, or, Affleck's Revenge

I never watch 'em, but the Golden Globe awards were handed out last night. Here's the list of winners only, and the list of winners and nominees. Ben Affleck may have been slighted in the Best Director category for the Oscars, but he snagged Golden Globes for Best Director and Best Drama for Argo. 

A few things I learned from the Golden Globe results:

It would seem I really need to check out the TV show Homeland, which picked up a few trophies. 

Regardless of the number of awards it wins, I will not be seeing Les Miserables. 

Oh, and by the way, don't mess with Maggie Smith.

The Oscars will be presented on Sunday, February 24, giving me plenty of time (I hope) to see the nominees I haven't yet seen.
